Acupuncture and Back Pain: Challenge to Conventional Medicine?

They were divided into four groups, and all received conventional medical treatment.

These showed that the three groups working with acupuncture felt a greater relief of back pain than conventional medicine group, demonstrating the effectiveness of this technique of traditional Chinese medicine to solve back problems.
The question arises as to sham acupuncture. If sham acupuncture does not penetrate the skin then how acupuncture works standard? Well, before this goes to make clear that acupuncture literally supports forms of “stimulation”, among which is the stimulus without insertion into the skin, which sham acupuncture is also a form of acupuncture, and obviously getting good results
