The freedom from hunger is one of the biggest challenges of leading a balanced diet. Those who manage to make each meal or snack an opportunity to ward off hunger and overcome the temptation to eat junk store certain habits, which are:

1. Prepare snacks
With the exception of protein bars, most pre-packaged snacks are low in vitamins, nutrients and protein and high in calories, fat, sugar and sodium, which prevent calcium retention in the body.
