Medical instruments: Obesity increases risk of anesthesia
Obesity has long been associated with sleep apnea. Doctors in America are now saying that obesity is also increasing risk in Bariatrics (weight loss surgery) especially in field anesthesia.
As if not obese enough problems: this may have a problem if they need surgery. The anesthesiologist may block a transaction if there are large risks.
The American Society of Anaesthesiologists has launched a new campaign for potential surgery patients, with emphasis obese, aware that something can go wrong when they set sail over to surgery. Some obese who have surgery, even if it is a bariatric surgery, may suffer from sleep apnea can reduce respiratory symptoms and breathing hard.
